| The first European Shuai Jiao
Championships took place in Oropesa, Castellon, Spain on 11 June 2005. The
tournament was hosted by the Spanish Shuai Jiao Union. Athletes came from
all over Europe to participate in what promised to be a challenging and
exciting tournament. The matches were refereed by
International Referees from Italy, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
